Hookup for 1/2 " Polyethelene Tubing

Hookup for 1/" Polyethelene Tubing Tubing Lines and Fittings
- Lay out the 1/2 " tubing from the hookup according to your layout graph. If the flexible tubing can’t be bent without crimping it, use compression or lock fittings for sharp turns and branches. Start from the hookup assembly and work outward. Cut the tubing with a utility knife and use a wiggling motion to compress tubing into fittings.
- IMPORTANT: Turn on the faucet and flush out debris before you install the drippers or sprayers. This will prevent the debris that will get into the line during installation from plugging the drippers or sprayers.
- When line(s) are completely laid out, install an end closure on the end of each line. The fitting has the advantage of being easy to open when flushing the lines periodically during maintenance.
- The 1/2 " tubing and spaghetti tubing can be buried if desired. However, discharge must remain above ground to work properly.
- For patio and deck installation, use .160 tubing and adapter with appropriate fittings and clips to attach to wood rafter, posts, etc..
